Jamie Foxx, hot on the heels of his #1 record Intuition, has announced a massive tour going on this summer. Only a few of the earliest dates have been announced. Jamie Foxx’s Intuition Tour begins with two nights in Las Vegas’ the Joint on July 3 and 4. Foxx will continue through he south from there, hitting up large arena all over the south through mid-July.

At first Foxx has announced just a handful of dates, however expect Intuition Tour features 50-plus dates. After Vegas, Foxx goes on to Tulsa, OK on July 9 at the BOK Center, Houston, TX on July 10, 2009 at The Reliant Arena, Austin, TX on July 11, at the Frank Erwin Center, Oklahoma City, OK on July 12 at Cox Arena, Memphis, TN on July 17 at the FedEx Forum, then the Intuition Tour goes to Nashville, TN on July 18 at the Sommet Center and then to Greensboro, NC July 19 at the Greensboro Coliseum. But while those are just the first dates announced, Jamie Foxx’s site says the Intuition Tour runs through October 2009.

The prayers of Jigga fans in some cities have been answered, as Hova has announced that Jay Z tickets are on sale for a few select venues. Sony BMG‘s Ciara is set to open the Jay Z tour. Fans are going crazy looking for Jay-Z tickets, and it looks like there will be no lessening of demand for seeing the Jay Z tour live and in person. The 2009 Jay Z tour is being billed as an intimate opportunity to connect with Jay Z in some of the most prestigious venues in America. Jay Z has said the tour will give him a chance to “connect with fans.” When the Multi-Grammy winner Jay Z takes the stage during the Jay-Z tour, he will be backed by a full band.

Only five shows have been announced, however both artists have promised more Jay Z tour dates will be announced soon. “I will say it because the information has been leaked. Me and Jay-Z will be doing a 10-city tour run together!” Ciara announced on her Twitter page. Ciara will be promoting “Fantasy Ride,” her latest album.

On Friday July 03 and Saturday, July 4, Jay Z will make the first of two appearance in Las Vegas, NV at the Pearl Concert Theater. On Tuesday, July 07, Mr. Carter performs at 8:00 PM in Chicago’s Charter One Pavilion. Jay-Z will perform on Friday, July 10, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. On Sunday, July 12, Jay Z performs in Atlanta, GA at the Chastain Park Amphitheater starting at 7:30pm. And on Friday, July 31, Jay Z will be in Canada, performing at the Centre Bell.

The legendary Snoop Dogg recently announced the 2009 Blazed and Confused Tour and hip hop fans are going crazy trying to find Snoop Dogg Blazed and Confused tickets. For those that haven’t discovered one of the most original bands out there, Slightly Stoopid is a reggae/hip hop band whose fanbase has been growing and growing for years, despite the fact that they’ve ignored most of the mainstream systems used to gain fame. They describe their one-of-a-kind style as “a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk.” The band, which was signed by Sublime‘s Bradley Nowell’s Skunk Records while they were in high school, has put out eight albums. Slightly Stoopid is fien without the attention from mainstream media. “When it comes to radio, MTV or any of the traditional music industry channels, we don’t rely on them,” explains Kyle McDonald. “We just do whatever we do. We just have fun. If people ask us, ‘What’s your new hit single?’ we tell them ‘we don’t got one! We got a bunch of songs that we put on our record…and we like them.’” Slightly Stoopid is comprised of Miles Doughty – Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Kyle McDonald – Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Ryan Moran- Drums, Oguer Ocon -Congas, Percussion, Harp, Vocals, DE LA-Saxophone, and C-Money-Trumpet and Keyboards.

Stephen Marley is reggae legend Bob Marley’s oldest son whose first album “Mind Control,” released in 2007, won that year’s Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
