Good news for hip hop fans around the country because the D12 tour is coming your way. With just about 40 stops along the D12 tour you’ve got a great chance to see these guys live. There haven’t been tons of good hip hop tours this summer so there should be a lot of fans looking for D12 tickets to see these guys in action.
Humboldt County hip-hop duo Potluck is along for the ride in what is being called the Dazed & Dirty Tour. The D12 tour kicks off in Scottsdale, Arizona on August 16th, runs through September with the Dazed & Dirty Tour ending, appropriately, in D12s hometown of Detroit, Michigan on September 26th. Make sure you get your concert tickets for D12 to see what what should be one of the biggest hip hop tours in a long time.
“This tour will be a grand celebration for all who come to the show and party with us,’ says Potluck’s 1 Ton. “D12 has been putting it down on the underground way before they got a chance to take it to the next level so I think it will be a good match. You take their style and combine it with our Pothead hip-hop fans and it should be a great time.”
D12, AKA the Dirty Dozen, includes members Bizarre, Eminem, Kon Artis, Kuniva and Swift. Their name originally comes from the fact that the six members have split personalities, like Eminem’s Slim Shady alter ego. Their debut album was 2001’s “Devil’s Night,” followed up by “D12 World.” Both albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. The D12 tour is the first time the Detroit based group will since Proof, a founding member, passed away.
Potluck, known as the hip-hop royalty of Humboldt, California is known for their unique rhyming style. They self-released a number of albums before signing with Suburban Noize Records, with whom they released “Pipe Dreams”. With the album Potluck has become one of the rising stars in hip hop, working with hip hop acts like Jurassic 5, E-40, Tech N9ne and C-Clan.
