Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour with Drake and Clipse

This has been a terrific couple of months for the hip hop star known as Drake, with an #1 album, heavily attended concerts and the inaugural OVO Festival in Toronto providing plenty of Drake music for fans. Now the Drake Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour is coming to Chicago, Detroit and Wallingford, CT for what is going to be another very exciting tour. Pitbull announces US “Mr Worldwide’s Carnaval Tour”

The ground-breaking rapper and club music impresario known as Pitbull has announced a US club tour at cities cross the country. Pitbull has been climbing up the hip hop hierarchy and as the tour shows Pitbull tickets are only going to get hotter. The Pitbull Tour is going to be one of the most intense of the summer and you need to be there to see it in person. Being called the Mr Worldwides Carnaval Tour, Pitbull will be putting on quite a production for ticket buyers, as the Pitbull Tour will feature a Carnaval theme, complete with exotic Brazilian dancers. This is one hip hop tour you do not want to miss so get some Pitbull tickets right away. The Pitbull Tour is being coordinated by AEG Live and stops in 19 cities across the country.

Pitbulls U.S. tour starts May 25 at Denver’s 1stBank Center and is over on June 27 at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom. Other stops along the 2010 Pitbull Tour include Six Flags Theme Parks in five state, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, Atlanta and Charlotte. Pitbull will also perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Telemundo on April 29. Currently Pitbull is on an international tour that includes stops in Australia, Latin America, Europe and Asia. The Pitbull tour opening act for the Mr Worldwide Carnaval Tour has not been determined yet, and could be different at different cities.

Pitbulls upcoming English album will be a follow up to his debut M.I.A.M.I. Pitbull will release his Spanish album Armando in June. D12 heads out on Dazed & Dirty Tour with Potluck

Good news for hip hop fans around the country because the D12 tour is coming your way. With just about 40 stops along the D12 tour you’ve got a great chance to see these guys live. There haven’t been tons of good hip hop tours this summer so there should be a lot of fans looking for D12 tickets to see these guys in action.

Humboldt County hip-hop duo Potluck is along for the ride in what is being called the Dazed & Dirty Tour. The D12 tour kicks off in Scottsdale, Arizona on August 16th, runs through September with the Dazed & Dirty Tour ending, appropriately, in D12s hometown of Detroit, Michigan on September 26th. Make sure you get your concert tickets for D12 to see what what should be one of the biggest hip hop tours in a long time.

“This tour will be a grand celebration for all who come to the show and party with us,’ says Potluck’s 1 Ton. “D12 has been putting it down on the underground way before they got a chance to take it to the next level so I think it will be a good match. You take their style and combine it with our Pothead hip-hop fans and it should be a great time.”

D12, AKA the Dirty Dozen, includes members Bizarre, Eminem, Kon Artis, Kuniva and Swift. Their name originally comes from the fact that the six members have split personalities, like Eminem’s Slim Shady alter ego. Their debut album was 2001’s “Devil’s Night,” followed up by “D12 World.” Both albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. The D12 tour is the first time the Detroit based group will since Proof, a founding member, passed away.

Potluck, known as the hip-hop royalty of Humboldt, California is known for their unique rhyming style. They self-released a number of albums before signing with Suburban Noize Records, with whom they released “Pipe Dreams”. With the album Potluck has become one of the rising stars in hip hop, working with hip hop acts like Jurassic 5, E-40, Tech N9ne and C-Clan.

Atmosphere, One of underground hip hop’s biggest names is currently on a nation-wide tour that has real hip hop fans all over the country getting excited for the Atmosphere tour. These guys have been at it for over a decade and have achieved a very dedicated following thanks to extensive touring Atmosphere does. They are getting a lot of attention and with good reason.

Atmosphere has released record on their own Rhymesayers labels and in partnerships with Warner, Epitaph and Fat Beats.

The prayers of Jigga fans in some cities have been answered, as Hova has announced that Jay Z tickets are on sale for a few select venues. Sony BMG’s Ciara is set to open the Jay Z tour. Fans are going crazy looking for Jay Z tickets, and it looks like there will be no lessening of demand for seeing the Jay Z tour live and in person. The 2009 Jay Z tour is being billed as an intimate opportunity to connect with Jay Z in some of the most prestigious venues in America. Jay Z has said the tour will give him a chance to “connect with fans.” When the Multi-Grammy winner Jay Z takes the stage during the Jay-Z tour, he will be backed by a full band.

On Tuesday, July 07, Mr. Carter performs at 8:00 PM in Chicago’s Charter One Pavilion. Jay-Z will perform on Friday, July 10, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. On Sunday, July 12, Jay Z performs in Atlanta, GA at the Chastain Park Amphitheater starting at 7:30pm. And on Friday, July 31, Jay Z will be in Canada, performing at the Centre Bell.
